Integrity complaint desk

Your report will be handled in complete discretion

At BOS+, we take pride in our high standard of integrity and transparency. Over the past few years, we have received no integrity complaints, which reflects our commitment to ethical conduct and responsible management. We remain dedicated to fostering an environment where trust and respect are central, both within our team and towards our partners and the community.

Do you have a complaint or report about BOS+?

Have you been harmed by an integrity violation committed by BOS+, including its employees, directors and partners in the performance of their duties? Consider both moral violations (abuse of power, racism, sexual transgression) and financial violations (corruption, fraud). Or did you witness them? Then you can file a complaint or report via the web form below. Thank you in advance for reporting it to us.

Strictly confidential

Any report or complaint will be kept strictly confidential. Only the complaints manager has access to the information of the report. Personal data will not be shared without the reporter’s consent. Other people may be involved at a later stage, after mutual agreement, if the further handling of the complaint requires it.

Objective and independent

The report or complaint is handled in an objective and independent manner, in line with the integrity policy, the ethical code of BOS+, and the internal complaints procedure.

Stay informed

You will receive a confirmation of receipt after submitting your report or complaint. Afterwards, you will be kept informed of further proceedings.

Admissibility criteria

A complaint cannot be reported anonymously, as this makes the investigation impossible. Below you will find some further admissibility criteria.

‘What exactly is integrity?’

‘When do we say a report or complaint is linked to integrity?’

‘What can I do if I am a witness or victim of a possible integrity violation?’

It is normal for such questions to arise in your mind. With all these questions, you can turn to the integrity counsellor.

Anyone with a link to BOS+ can turn in confidence to the integrity counsellor for advice and guidance on integrity and possible violations. The integrity counsellor guides you through the integrity domain, can explain the framework and present you with various possible courses of action. The integrity counsellor guarantees the confidentiality of the information shared, unless there are exceptional circumstances, such as a serious and imminent danger to persons or the organisation. In that case, the confidentiality principle may be broken.

Conditions of admissibility

  • A complaint is admissible if:

    • It concerns a complaint relating to a violation of integrity committed by BOS+, including its directors, employees and volunteers in the performance of their duties. Integrity violation means any violation of financial or moral conduct according to the BOS+ code of ethics. In addition, possible violations by partner organisations of BOS+ are also considered, when they relate to the integrity provisions included in the contracts that BOS+ enters into with them.
    • The complaint was filed by an interested party. Interested party means every employee, partner and beneficiary of BOS+, including their employees, and any other victim of integrity violations as mentioned in point 1. The reporter can be both victim and witness.
    • The facts are not time-barred. The limitation period is three years.
    • The complaint was submitted through one of the foreseen reporting channels, being to the complaint manager, through the complaint form on the BOS+ website, through someone from the management and/or through a contact person of a local country office.
    • The complaint was not made anonymously.
    • It is not a complaint about a violation that has been previously reported and to which adequate action has been taken.
